The electrification of heavy-duty vehicles is gaining momentum, with more than 90,000 electric trucks sold globally in 2024 alone. Yet in many markets, adoption remains limited. For example, in Europe, electric trucks accounted for less than 4% of new sales in 2024 — far below the level required to meet long-term climate objectives.
