EVIAS is a deep-tech startup (founded in 2023, with teams in Paris, Troyes and Stockholm) developing conductive ground-based charging systems for electric vehicles. Its core idea is to electrify the road surface so vehicles can charge while parked (static) or while driving (dynamic), without any manual plugging in.
EVIAS relies on a conductive rail embedded in the road, rather than wireless induction charging. Electricity only flows through direct contact between the rail and a collector located under the vehicle, and the rail is only energized when a vehicle is connected.
The company is developing two distinct technologies: the E-SFS1® for static charging (while parked, with no manual plugging in) and the E-DFS1® for dynamic charging (while driving), via a collector that deploys automatically under the vehicle.
EVIAS is building an embedded system using cameras and computer vision that lets the vehicle detect the conductive rail on its own and guide the collector into position automatically, making the coupling fully autonomous and hands-free.

Users can simply park or position the vehicle over the charging surface and let it charge, no cables, plugs.

Simple installation with minimal setup, so it can be deployed quickly and with less disruption.

Ultra-fast charging that minimizes downtime and gets vehicles back on the road sooner.

Fully automated charging with no driver
intervention required.

No magnetic field meaning no interference with autonomous vehicle systems.
